There is a song by one of my favorite groups called Nickle Creek, called Thats How He Hurt His Hands. It talks about a little boy who gave his mother some roses, because he loved her, but some of the thorns got caught in his hands and left scars. In this action the mother knew the boy had loved her because of his actions.
LOVE: Verb, noun, adjective ....
People show LOVE in many many ways. Some of you may know of the book called The Five Love Languages and in it, it talks about 5 ways that people show Love. And I'm learning alot! Im learning alot about myself and Im learning alot about Darrel and how we both show love in many different ways. You can tell some one you love them, you can show them, you can touch them, you can help them, you can buy them things..ect...
The way of Love that I wanted to talk about is Action, just like the little boy shows to his mother..The next verse talks about his mother sitting him down and reading him the Bible, he sees a picture of Jesus and his scars from the nails. The little boy then proclaims that He had scars just like him, and then He knew it was love...by his Action.
God shows us love in so many different ways...He tells us, He shows us, He guides us, He Helps us, Hes always there, He will always love you even if you dont love or care for Him. He even gave His only Son to die for us, He was showing Love in Action. Jesus preformed miracles for people, but this Love Action is the best one of all! It shows me really how much He loves us, and since one of my love languages is Action I understand completely!
