I Have Made The Sunset


You look to the sky, to find the reasons why.
You look to the sunset, and try to forget.
Your so scared you dont know what to do.
But look to Me and I will show you.

Fear not for I hold your right hand,
Im the One who carried you in the sand.
In this world you will have trouble,
but I will overcome it.
And when you get discourage
Know that I have made the Sunset.....

..So be still and know who I AM.

I said I would be there in the light and in the dark.
I AM in the corners of your heart.
Ive never left you and I've always been here.
Come to me all who are weary,
And I will draw near....

So be still and know  who I AM.

I know my child you are hurting and dont know why,
But remember I AM the one who made the tears you cry.

In all your trials and tribulations dont forget
Ive heard you when you cry,
I see you when you smile,
I even came to die
Before we even met.

So in your heartache, be still and know WHO I AM,
You were never made to forget,
For when you get discourage,
Know that I have made the Sunset.

I wrote this poem because I know alot of people are going through some hard times and I wanted to encourage them, because at the end of the day God is still God, and always will be. :)
